Disc is inserted, but not read?

If your PS5 inserts and spins the disc normally but does not recognize the game or Blu-ray, it may not be a mechanical drive error.

In this case, for example, the laser or another part of the drive electronics may be affected. If the error is not clear, the drive will be inspected accordingly first.
